Trailer Financing

Spread the cost of a work trailer over terms that match how you earn. Applications take a few minutes and most decisions come back the same day.

How it works

Financing without the runaround

We work with lenders who specialise in trailers and light commercial equipment, so the people reviewing your file already understand what you are buying.

Pick your trailer

Choose a unit from inventory or ask us to spec one. The lender needs the model and price, so it helps to settle this first.

Submit a short application

Basic contact details, the trailer you want and, for business applications, how long you have been operating. It takes about five minutes.

Review your options

You will usually see terms the same day. Compare monthly payment, term length and any down payment before you commit to anything.

Sign and take delivery

Once documents are signed and funding clears, we release the trailer for pickup or schedule transport to you.

Who qualifies

Personal and business buyers both welcome

Lenders look at credit history, time in business and the trailer itself, which acts as collateral. Newer businesses and buyers rebuilding credit still have options, though terms will differ.

  • Personal use purchases for hauling, hobby and property maintenance
  • Established contractors, landscapers, haulers and farm operations
  • Start-up businesses in their first two years of trading
  • Buyers who want to preserve working capital rather than pay cash

What affects your rate

Trailer ageNew units typically finance on better terms than used
Time in businessRelevant for commercial applications only

Rates, terms and approval are set by the lender, not by Atlas Trailer Group. Nothing on this page is a commitment to lend or financial advice.

Financing FAQs

Questions people actually ask

Will applying hurt my credit score?

Most lenders start with a soft pull to show indicative terms, which does not affect your score. A hard inquiry happens only when you move forward with a formal application, and we will tell you before that point.

Is there a down payment?

It depends on the lender and your profile. Some approvals require nothing down, others ask for ten to twenty percent. Putting more down generally improves the terms you are offered.

Can I pay the loan off early?

Many trailer loans allow early payoff without penalty, but this varies by lender. Ask us to confirm the prepayment terms before you sign anything.

Do you finance used trailers?

Often yes, though the available terms are usually shorter than on new units and some lenders set an age limit. Ask about the specific trailer you are considering.

What documents will I need?

Typically a government ID and, for business applications, basic business details. Larger amounts may require bank statements or tax returns.
