Quality begins long before a trailer reaches the customer
Each unit is reviewed by trained personnel using a standardized inspection checklist. The inspection is designed to identify visible defects, verify the correct installation of factory-installed components, confirm that essential systems operate properly, and ensure the trailer is prepared for transportation.

The inspection, stage by stage
Eight stages, one standard
Each trailer moves through the same sequence. A unit only advances once the previous stage is complete.
Arrival & Inventory Verification
On arrival, the trailer model, VIN, specifications, dimensions and included accessories are verified against our internal records. The exterior is checked for shipping damage from the manufacturer, and protective packaging is removed where appropriate.
Structural Inspection
Inspectors visually examine the frame, crossmembers, tongue, welds, safety-chain attachment points, ramps, hinges, fenders and attachment hardware, looking for cracks, distortion, loose hardware or cosmetic damage that could affect quality or appearance.
Running Gear Inspection
Axles, leaf springs, equalizers, U-bolts, hubs, bearings, wheels and tires are inspected. Tire sizes, inflation pressures and wheel fastener torque are verified, and suspension components are checked for correct installation and visible defects.
Coupler & Safety Equipment
The coupler is tested for proper engagement and the jack is operated through its full range of motion. Safety chains, breakaway cable (where applicable), reflectors and required safety labels are confirmed present and correctly installed.
Electrical & Lighting
All lighting functions are tested, including tail lights, brake lights, turn signals, clearance lights and license plate illumination. Wiring is visually inspected for secure routing and proper protection from abrasion.
Brakes & Operational Systems
Where equipped, electric brake components and breakaway systems are checked. Moving components such as ramps, tilt mechanisms, dump functions and hydraulic systems are operated to verify smooth movement and proper functionality.
Appearance & Finish
The paint or powder-coated finish is inspected for chips, scratches and defects. Decals, warning labels and branding are checked for correct placement, and the trailer is cleaned so that it presents professionally on delivery.
Documentation Review
Customer documentation, serial numbers, manuals and any supplied accessories are verified before shipment. The inspection record is completed and stored with the order information.
Final quality approval. Only after every inspection stage has been completed is the trailer approved for dispatch. If an issue is identified, the trailer is held until corrective action has been completed and verified.

Upon delivery, we encourage every customer to perform a visual inspection before accepting the trailer. It takes a few minutes and it protects you.
